December Daily is a wonderful holiday project. This is the second year in a row that I have completed this mini album. The projects encourages you to document a story or memory per day during the holiday season. The story does not need to be holiday related. Many are for me, but I also document day to day stuff like morning routines, nights we did not cook dinner, stories from dog walks and work days. It amazing to look back on these pages and remember where we were at in life and what we were up too.
I kept with a red, black and kraft color theme throughout my entire mini album. I loved these colors together.
This year's holiday season started off slow, so I want to document what was around my house that was either new or decorations and the following day I documented my weekday routine. The start of my LuLaRoe business was occurring simultaneously.
Part of December Daily for me is to document the good joyful times as well as the sad troublesome times as well. My story on the 5th, is getting laid off from my job. I kept the story in order to look back on it next year and remember how far I've come.
Our holiday photo shoot was late, but I still managed to get cards made and delivered in time for Christmas.
My sister visited for 10 days and it was an amazing time. We took tons of photos to celebrate the holiday as well has hundreds of photos for my LuLaRoe business. We loved using the self timer on my camera to get group photos.
My rescue dog, Kobe, clicked completely this holiday season and follows me around like a duckling. Love that feeling having him in our family.
Enjoyed the best lunch with my girlfriend from Vegas, who happens to be a food blogger and ate to much food at BURGER STOP in Coconut Creek.
Christmas is always spent with family and had way to many pictures to include. I take my DD to the end of the month, so i document all the way til New Years Eve.
It is a great project and I hope everyone has the strength to complete it til the end. Happy documenting ladies!

Hello Scrappy friends! Today's layout is for our Pretty Patterned Paper Playground series. Katty and I usually take over each others YouTube channels for our process videos. My layout is rather simple but I still used some mixed media as I usually do.
I first started off with a stencil from Americana called Segmented Circles along with Liquitex Black Lava medium. I hauled the Black Lava product a few weeks ago from Blitsy and I've played with it a few times. I find it to simply be gel medium with black glitter in it. I like the contrast of it on the white card stock.
I then used my Silhouette Cameo and used a layered Poinsettia cut file that I cut twice, once on red glitter paper and again on red and white snowflake paper. I alternated the papers to make the poinsettia interesting. I added a gold enemal dot to the centers and arranged three on each side of the photo for balance.
My title is from Pebbles from a Jen Hadfield collection I hauled from Tuesday Morning. I matteed my photo on gold paper to have it pop. The photo I am scrapping is once again from my sisters trip to Florida and my dad hoped into this one. I kept the photo black and white in order to keep all the elements of color on the layout.
My last detail were in adding Nuvo Crystal drops in Bright Gold and Golden Sunset all around the photo and flowers. It adds tiny details while you look at this layout.
Thank you for joining us. Here is my short process video.

Hello Scrappy Friends! Welcome to the SpiegelMom Scraps monthly blog hop. Thank you for stopping by. We are all creating Cozy Themed layouts for the month of November. I started out with a cut file from the Silhouette Design store called Grandma lace on kraft and gold embossed paper from my stash.
I am scrapping a photo of my mom, sister and me doing yoga poses on the beach on one of my sisters trips to Florida. Always a good time when she is in town. I layered my cut file on a jewel toned teal colored card stock for my base. I matted my photo on navy paper and edged it with sequins from Autumn Joys.
My title is from the Wonder chipboard collection sitting in my stash. I layered dollies from the shop as well behind my photo for added interest.
My embellishment cluster are pieces from Open Book by Maggie Holmes and a Studio Calico wood veneer snapped like a camera finishes off my layout. Thank you so much for joining me and continue on the hop.
