Do you ever wonder what we all carry in our bags. Sometimes I do, and whenever I do not have something I always depend on one of my friends to have it in theirs. I think what we carry around with us also tells a lot about a person. For the longest time, I have always loved a big purse to carry. I would carry every single thing imaginable. The beloved 'mom' bag. And then one day, the thought to hauling around a 10, 20, 30 pound bag was just insane. These days, I opt for the small more compact bag, bigger than a clutch but less then my former options.
My bag is from Kate Spade and I just love the beautiful mint color. I did purchase it at an outlet, so I am not sure if its still available. So lets start with a few standard items you will find in everyone bag like a wallet. I am currently in a hot pink Coach Leather Wristlet. I simply carry all my cards and a little bit of cash on me. These days don't we all pay for items with cards. I rarely have cash on me anymore.
Keys, everyone has a set. I only have the key to my Honda Civic, the mailbox and the front door. My Miami Dolphin keyring keeps them all together. I am a Miami Dolphin fan, we live in south florida and are season ticket holders so naturally Dolphin gear is needed. I also have a pair of Dolphin headsets. I am always on YouTube and when I can I listen to video with them.
My selfie stick goes with me everywhere. I have gone through 2 in about a year. I have managed to break one and loose another. But its a must have these days.
I have switched over from iPhone world to a proud owner of the Samsung Galaxy, I am in the Android club now. I simply had to switch for the fantastic camera it has. As a blogger and scrapbooker, pictures are very important to me. My phone is currently in a very colorful Mickey Mouse case I purchased on my first trip to Disney for Valentine's day. Its rubber and has saved my phone more than once.
Kind bars are my absolute favorite Gluten free and low sugar snack to have on hand. I suffer with food sensitivities and have to opt for gluten free and sugar free as much as possible or I break out in a rash. Which then leads to my little vitamin holder with digestive enzymes in it. I have IBS and do not break down food easily on its own, so I take digestive enzymes to assist in the process. Cannot leave home without these. I also carry my own packets of Stevia, natural sugar, for my coffee. I cannot have regular sugar anymore, so I am forced to have stevia for a sweeter or I have developed a tongue for drinking coffee black.
My bullet journal is my planner and idea notebook I always have on hand. Its a Xeutrum 1917 dotted journal with my Metropolitan fountain pen. It houses my running to- do lists and ideas wherever I go.
I am a bit of a germ a phone and carry around hand sanitizer. It then forced me to carry around lotion because my skin will get extremely dry as well. I am a lotion-a-holic. I buy lotions all the time. Different scents, different brands... I am obsessed with lotion.
Another item I am obsessed with are lip products. I am a constant lip balm, chap stick and lip gloss user. I think, I have very dry lips as well. So I look for constant moisture for them. My go to's are the Rosebud Salve, the CO Bigalow Lemon lip cream and Burt's Bee's tinted balm. For a my lips but better gloss, I love the Milani lip gloss in Mauve it and NYX liquid lipstick in Tea and Roses.
Lastly, a girl needs to smell good with a few roller ball applicator perfume. Lately, I reach for MK Daisy and Burberry Brit. I keep on hand, my Loreal True Match in W4 to blot any shine throughout the day. A few hair ties for my curly hair and some cherry hard candies when I need something sweet. I do like to carry floss and tooth picks just in case.
I hope you enjoyed viewing the inside of my bag. I have not rid myself of my large bags. If I move back into one, I'll show you all the things that I carry in it in another post. Or perhaps if I do become pregnant, you could see a diaper bag post. The future can go either way.
