Playing in my art journal can be very intuitive. A relaxing process, where I am simply play with art supplies and see where the page takes me. Today's pages are for The Pink Camera and I am playing with Ranger's Dylusion acrylic paints.
I started with a small stencil from Amy Tangerine Rise and Shine collection that is sitting in my stash. It is a small striped stencil that I juxtaposed with alternating colors. I used all the colors in the collection; Bubblegum Pink, Squeezed Orange, Postbox Red, London Blue, Vibrant Turquoise and Fresh Lime.
I did a bit of decoupage work with gorgeous tissue paper with the flowers and peacock feathers. I used Liquitex Gel Medium and a flat firm paint brush to adhere it. Black marble dylusion acrylic paint was used in the 'Many Faces' stencil from The Crafters Workshop.
I kept the title simple and wrote it with a Sharpie Marker and dotted it with a white paint pen. It was a simple and perfect finish to the page.
